or maybe they just enjoy playing in the presear atmosphere, and already have a lvl 20 on the outside? just their way of fighting the monotony that the game can get when you do everything... well, that person really has done everything now if so.

Lol, make your own lvl 20 and team up with him for the academy fight, then complain loudly the whole time about where the Hall of Heroes went...

Man... I leveled a character to lvl 10 in pre-searing once. Just going that far tested my patience about as far as I could. I couldn't even imagine going all the way to 20. It's an accomplishment in persistence if nothing else. I'd buy him/her a Dwarven Ale... if they sold them in pre-sear.

I left one character to level 8. That was boring me to death.

How do you get level 20 in Pre-Searing..?

Don't you stop gaining XP at a certain level.

Yeah, that's how it's done. I played a character to level 16 without finishing ANY quests. At this point, I didn't get any XP from the charrs anymore, so I started doing quests, including all the small second profession ones before you actually have to choose one final. After that, I had about 80% done before level 17. So, at that point it was either starting to make the monsters level up (see above) or not. And I didn't.

I''ll give them this much: patience of a saint. I managed to get to 12 on my longest run ever, and was SOOO bored by then. The lvl 8 charr were only worth 32 experience each and it was taking forever to level, and they still weren't easy kills with crappy weapons and weak armour, you spend half your time just healing. Way too much time - I'd love to do it for the looks on people's faces when they face you in the academy, but as was mentioned, as soon as you go through you are just another lvl 20, like everyone else. Cool accomplishement, but really boring.

I just glitch the charr, they make easy kills then.

case in point:

Yes...me and a guildy are dancing behind 2 charr...wonder why they are looking in the distance...and yes...im a lvl 11 in this pic.

Here is the said player at lvl 15. This picture was screencapped at October 3.

What's the point of leveling to 20 in pre-sear? It just proves you have a lot of time on your hands.
